When I shared in a private business Facebook group that I was going to do a program of 30 Minutes for 30 Days, a journey with distance Reiki, I heard significant doubting and they suggested I do a ‘beta’ trial. I've used distance Reiki in the past and had powerful experiences. One distance Reiki session that stands out was for a gentleman in Perth, Australia. The energy movement was strong, and he was feeling it as well, telling me he was feeling the energy moving up and down his spine, and all around him. He was suffering a great deal with Lime’s disease and more. I was thrilled with the result of this session. Month’s later I did a distance session with a coaching client I had I Kentucky. She too had an amazing experience and was relieved of a severe headache.
I chose to do a beta program and invited a few people to join for 3 days. The participants shared the following:
- I'm feeling much more centered today
- Felt very calm and relaxed, but happy, almost giddy - my energy felt really good
- I felt a physical response in my lower chakras of pulling and swirling...I felt simultaneously weightless and rooted
- It just felt nice knowing another person was thinking of me and focusing on my well being
- I had a great night sleep after struggling the last two nights
I wasn’t surprised at the responses, in part because of the Hermetic Law of Similarity, which holds that we are all connected. Nor would I have created a program if I had any doubts about it’s effectiveness. It is similar to prayer. How often do groups of people get to gather to pray for people a cross the country or world, especially during tragedy, which we have had more than enough of - by man and nature.
I do the distance sessions similar those that are in person. I connect my energy to the participants energy field, I call on the Divine (source) to be present, and that the session would only be for the person’s greatest and highest good. I call on Jesus, other ascended masters, the angels, and others of the light to assist. I use my Reiki studio, put on meditative music, set my intention, and have participants do so as well. I use a their personal photo to better connect with each person.
In my Energy Medicine Practice, most of my sessions are done in person. Many of my clients come as part of their self-care routine. I have a studio which is very peaceful, with a little water fountain, many choices of essential oils, which can be defused during the session, and for the colder days, I even have a heated pad for the table. I incorporate some other things to keep the energy frequency as high as I can.
I wanted to help more people and I knew a group would be a positive wonderful way to help many more people on a given day. I also thought that with a month long program, people might go through some significant changes to improve their lives.
Clients may have sensations like they would in person, such as tingling, heat, or a very subtle energy wave in the area I’m working. It helps on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels, and often miracles occur. And it helps relax and reduce your stress levels. (So important with the high-stress levels people go through and that stress correlates to 90-95% of all illnesses. Reiki has become a frequent complimentary therapy in major hospitals Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins’s, Mayo Clinic and so many more, I was recently told that Children’s Hospital here in Pittsburgh is incorporating Reiki and other energy medicine modalities.
